The National Guild of Removers & Storers is an independent body dedicated to consumer protection within the removals industry. Formed in 1991, the Guild operates across the UK, providing guidance to members and monitoring company standards.
The Guild developed the first code of practice for the removals industry and carries out continuous quality monitoring of all its members.
The Guild is a founding member of the Removals Industry Ombudsman Scheme which provides independent dispute resolution for consumers and removal company members. Each member of the Guild receives compulsory membership to the scheme, ensuring there is an effective recourse for consumers should they exhaust the conciliation service offered by the Guild itself. Complaints against members will be investigated by the Ombudsman free of charge. The scheme is a member of British & Irish Ombudsman Association (BIOA). We had used quite a number of removals in London and this company is the BEST EVER! The driver named Costa was very helpful, polite, punctual and fast! He made our move so much easier and even enjoy the process. Normally moving can be stressful but Costa really went overboard in helping us and looking after our every item. AMAZING!
